Hello Jim and Jordan. First a disclaimer, I have not been working with trading professionally and never were a trader. But I have studied complex systems in university and had worked with some statistics measure related to price time series, some simple Markow chains for modeling, a bit of neural networks for predictions and built a few Markowitz portfolios. It's been a while back ago and my knowledge is a bit rusty in this topic and it is all theoretical. I have developed a discord bot that crawled some closed groups found recomendations in specific format and followed those instructions in Binance via their api to do some trading. That was done for a client and didn't include any calculations or analysis of economic data from my side. If I understood your task correctly you need a backend for a website and a bot that would do some background tasks. I can do both of these task. But it would be nice if talked over the project details and came up with a more detailed plan and tasks. My skillset includes building apps and working with low level code in C if required so from technical stand point we won't have problems.
