Create a set of cool looking D3 chart designs for our web application

We have a number of D3.js charts that we want created so that we can use them in our application. We need them to be animated well, but also easily customizable (with css) and easy to feed an array of data and settings options into (e.g. labels, values, switching axes, other stuff on & off). We have some existing prototypes for some of the charts, but need lots more created from scratch. Will be about 6-10 different chart controls in total. There will likely be ongoing work improving and adding to these for our product for someone who is really good - they will become our preferred D3.js expert for our product(s). Below I've attached the specifications for two of the charts. Note that the prototype referred to in these specs isn't available here, but will be provided later. Note also the other charts are not started yet - we just have concepts. So these will need to be created from scratch rather than these initial 2 that we have prototypes for. So we need someone with excellent skills in D3.js to help us long term on this - create the full set of charts and help maintain and improve them for us long term.
