build an existing 3d visualization scene using three.js

Job Description We need a developer to build upon an existing 3d visualization scene using three.js. There is a large patterned floor with several different car models that currently display. Users can choose from a variety of features and from several options for each of those features such as exterior paint which change according to the user’s input. Engines We need to add additional 3d engine models which will display within the current car. The hood and front of the car needs to lift off while the engine option is being selected. When an engine option is selected, that engine should appear in the current vehicle’s engine bay. Garage We need to create a walled garage with pillars in between the cars. The cars currently sit on a patterned floor with no surrounding structure. We need to be able to place graphics/posters of our sponsors on the walls and pillars in the garage. We also need to place other decorative objects such as gas pumps, tires, toolboxes, etc. within the garage scene. Improvements We need to be able to smooth or reduce 3D model sizes to improve page loading, as well as implementing browser side caching. Interior and exterior colors on the car models need adjustment to become more vibrant and life-like. We also need to add some graphics to the car license plates. Skills - Experience with creating 3D scenes and working with models using Blender, 3ds Max, Autodesk FBX or similar. - Experience with optimizing browser loading speed by the use of caching, compression - Experience with JavaScript frameworks - Experience with [login to view URL] is a plus ([login to view URL]) - Good code organization skills, encapsulating and reusing functionality where appropriate - Strong communication skills. Quickly identify blocking issues and raise them for resolution. - Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to deliver on timeline commitments.
