Looking for an experienced and talented Scala engineer that can augment our existing team and work on our API, which is using the Play Framework and is written in Scala. You should have experience developing high-quality backend code that is maintainable, secure, and scalable and have worked on similar projects in the past. There are a variety of tasks that we're looking for assistance with: - New Feature development - Optimizing of code for scaling - Bug fixes Skills: - Proficient in JVM languages and/or other functional languages. The codebase is written entirely in Scala - Experience building and maintaining large backend systems - Ability to work in a cross-functional team - Able to and have written integration tests and unit tests Nice to haves: - Experience with the AWS environment and the different services - Experience working with managing infrastructure with Terraform - MySQL
