Build a simple GUI tool for testing hashing of files.
Part 1 will be a tool to read and calculate the hash of a file using xxHash ([login to view URL]) and saving the results into a file. Input will be of all files in a directory (with the scanning of all subdirectories optional). The user will be able to choose the number of sectors (512 bytes) of the input file to use for calculating the hash. (1-25)
Part 2 will be the scanning of all the files in a directory (with the scanning of subdirectories optional). The program will open the file with hash values and be able to determine the number of sectors used to create them in part 1. The program will read in the new files, calculate the hash using the number of sectors dictated by the database, and copy all matches found in the database out to a directory.
Additional output will be a CSV file with relevant data (Matched file name, hash value, and sector size)
