Synegry Chess is an innovative game of double chess which is free to play online. This is not an app. This is a web based game only. People can play against human or bot. The game is written in Node.js, React.js, Xitrium, Scala and Java. The Database is mongodb. This makes it very hard to find people that can work on the program to do upgrades, etc.
I am not a coder myself. I hired someone to write the program. I am considering hiring someone to simplify or change the languages to make it easier for coders to work on it. I want Synergy Chess to be written in Java, JavaScript and PHP. I have heard terms VueJS and SPA's, but I am not a coder and do not know what they are.
if the code cannot be modified, then I would consider starting from scratch and rewriting the whole program (including Database if necessary). I am sure not everything will need to be rewritten. Surely parts of the game can be copied and put in like the board, pieces, layout, etc. The code for the game itself will need to be modified or rewritten. The files would have to be organised in a way that makes it easy for other coders to find things.

I would be looking to make this better than the current version with at least everything that is currently in place - registration process, chat feature, Move log, board editor, play agains human or bot, Ranking points adjustments (currently Glicko 2), etc. There are 5 preset levels to play against bot, but there is no logic in any of them (yet). The computer defaults to level 1. It won't let you make any illegal moves, but it will sacrifice a Queen for a Pawn just to take something, and do random moves that make no sense. I will be looking to improve the current logic a little bit so players can get something of a game against the bot. Not looking for expert level here just a basic Ai logic upgrade. Eventually there will be 10 (maybe more) different levels of difficulty for players to enjoy.
We can have discussions about other possible upgrades for the new game. This will depend on price. There could be ongoing work for the right person. I have a long "Wish List"
The whole idea of this project is to simplify as much of the code as necessary so others can work on it easily (even if that means rewriting the whole lot).
You will need to be able to communicate well as there will need to be detailed discussions before any work commences. I have to make sure I get it right this time.
You will NOT be allowed to outsource. All works will have to be completed by you or your immediate team.
You will need to sign my NDA and prove that you live in Australia by having ID docs verified by a JP.
