Hello. You do not mention inflatable boat in your task - this is a key point of the trolley structure. I am going to design the structure on a base of a frame of triangular schema. This simple and lightweight structure will have a maximum reliability. The other idea is to load and reload boards from both sides - there will be no external frame. The optimists could also take the seats from both sides as well as bikes could be places there. Probably the structure could be a bit lower. I will be glad if you specify the task (motor boat!) as well as I need your guideline dimensions of boards etc. The architecture and structure of this trolley is extremely interesting for me. My design, engineering and construction real practice skills and experience let me do this job.
