I am looking for developing a home automation by using my existing html design with any code to make it work. I will use many ESP8266 as nodes or devices, and I will use an ORANGE PI ZERO as Main GATEWAY. I will be able to just open one port in forwarding on router and able to manage all of my ESP8266 devices. NOTE. Developers from please do not apply for this task, I have already wasted time and money $40 + $30 With two different Indians developers and no solution for me. They just waste your time and rip you off of your money as well. I am very upset of these Indian contractors and developers.

Hi guy, I have the DIY project which is similar to your project. In my project I use Pi 3 as gateway and some ESP8266 modules as devices. The communication between gateway and devices via WIFI and I use MQTT for both gateway and devices. The devices can communicate with internet via gateway. The source code on Pi 3 is C++ and I already checked in other embedded board such as Pi 1, Pi 0 and AI7688. Arduino is used in ESP8266. Please message to me if you need more information. Thanks.
