We are on the lookout for an individual who wants to get involved with a project at the cutting edge of web development. All applicants must work with speed and thrive on the tension of deadlines. Our dream webdev has a minimum of two years in the world of web development, with a sweet portfolio. Because we live in the virtual world it doesn't matter where you reside as long as you are responsive to communication in a reasonable manner. You are a UI/UX Whiz and have extensive knowledge/experience with front-end work. You're comfortable developing in a Ruby on Rails environment front to back You're handy writing raw HTML and CSS (especially HTML5 and CSS3) You're comfortable with JavaScript/jQuery, and know when not to use it You're a geek about current Web standards, accessibility, and best practices You can grok existing code with ease and have experience joining projects in progress You're familiar with Bootstrap, but wouldn't mind helping a project transition away You're a web developer with two or more years of professional industry experience
