Off line iBeacon BLE solution

Good day.

Our office requires a specific Bluetooth beacon solution for a large project. We have patented a concept which will be in great demand in our country. We however need a technology partner who will be able to design, manufacture and supply a Bluetooth Gateway/Scanner which will be tailormade for our specific application and project.

Our requirements:

• Bluetooth scanner which will function off-line

• This scanner should be able to pair with

Accelerometer Beacon

• This scanner should “pulse” a relay output for 3 seconds every time when any E8S Accelerometer Beacon are moved.

• This scanner would not need to have Wifi functionality (Off-line)

• Should be powered from DC input

• Have firmware which are applicable on this application only.

• This scanner should be able to detect “low battery” conditions of Accelerometer Beacon and “pulse” a second relay output for 3 seconds.

Preferred method of assigning Accelerometer Beacon to scanner:

1. Mobile app:

Pairing the scanner with the allocated tags by Bluetooth App from mobile phone. Editing the names of the tags would be a bonus.

2. PC software

Second option will be to connect to the scanner with a PC by Bluetooth or USB in order to assign & name tags.

3. Learn function on scanner itself:

Press & hold a “tag learn button” on the scanner which will allow for tags to be assigned. Press this button again once all the tags have been paired. (Similar procedure in order to delete a tag – by pressing the “tag delete” button.

Relay outputs:

Outputs should have common, normally open and normally closed dry contact rated at 10A/28V DC, that will be activated each time an event occurs.

• Output 1: Trigger very time when beacon with accelerometers beacons moves.

• Output 2: Triggers when any beacon has a low battery condition.

Our company has invested a considerable amount of time and money in the developed of our own server, mobile application and control room software. We would there not need an online solution where we would need to make use of two separate servers.

The functionality of our system:

1. E8S Accelerometer Beacon are placed on assets

2. Asset moves

3. Scanner trigger output 1

4. Output 1 is connected to our GMS communicator (which uploads to our server)

5. Alert is generated by our server – client receives mobile push notification and control room receives notification on monitoring software.

Please submit a quotation for the design of this scanner as described above at your earliest convenience.

It might be helpful if I have the opportunity to communicate with your engineer directly if any additional information is required in this regard.
