User reorder parameters in URL

I have a website that accepts a parameter that has a variable list of comma separated values. I need a way to allow the use to reorder the comma separated list and then when they press submit to re-call the webpage with the new URL and changed parameter list order.

The current page is a python - Flask app running in a docker container with the Python-alpine 3 image. It is hosted on the Google Cloud Platform (GSP).

For example if the URL was [login to view URL]“Apple,orange,pear” the code would show the user the list of items:

1. Apple

2. Orange

3. Pear

And allow the user to reorder the list. E.g.

1. Pear

2. Apple

3. Orange

The user would then press submit and the page would reload with the new URL and ordered list in the parameter.
