About the project:
24 Limousine is seeking a site designer to envision and create a website that will increase web traffic and finally lead to more clients.
Established in June 2008, 24 Limousine has since made over 3000 Airport transportations per year. Poised for our 10th anniversary we see it is time to update our current website design in order to increase our visibility.
Aim:
Our objectives with this project are two fold – first and foremost we want to see an increase and diversification of the customer demographic and we believe improving the design of the site can achieve that; and second we want to increase functionality so clients can have a stress-free net experience.
References:
The references we are looking at have been the websites of 5 star hotels, mid to high-level car companies, and other chauffeur limousine services from around the world. Based on our research, we have refined our results according to the companies which we see reflect the company’s philosophy is Mini USA.

What we want (listed according to importance)
1) Streamlining our quote system – the current model is cluttered so we want to simplify the design, but make it comprehensible and detailed enough so clients can make informed decisions. Optimizing it for smartphone devices.
2) Regarding the overall design, we want a cleaner design akin to the Mini USA website; keywords include, clean lines, crisp resolution, interactivity,
-Has a lot of scrolling encourages the viewer to explore the site
with minimal clicking
-Heads up display has arrows to assist users to navigate the site
-Scroll has natural flow opens up at images of the fleet,
-Hovering cursor over menu headers opens up a drop down menu,
letting viewers see all options available

3) In terms of functionality and increasing efficiency, we want to install a chat function in the website which will allow customers outside of Japan to make immediate contact with our staff in Tokyo who can answer incoming inquiries with ease. 4) Embedding Wordpress blogging into our website. Our communication’s team regularly updates the site for incoming tourist so they receive up to date information about festivals, hot tourist sights, and must visit events.
5) Create a site that is also optimized for smartphone devices. At the moment, the smartphone version of our site feels obtrusive and we’d like a more refined appearance. Throughout the creative process we welcome any constructive feedback, as we want this to be a collaborative effort.
