We are looking to make some changes in design as well as the features of our working website. Our site is a movie streaming website where people submit links from different video host sites for people to watch or stream. We need to optimize database queries as well as the previous script was not coded that well.
What we need :
1. Optimize mysql queries to enhance site performance (Mysql load on CPU shoots to 90% when traffic peaks).
2. Optimize image delivery. Any solution better than timthumb.
3. Add features to profile page like adding a friend, sending and receiving a message.
4. Add review system for movies and tv shows/episodes.
5. Commenting system with replies.
6. Moderator accounts which will have ability to moderate submitted comments, reviews and links.
7. Newsletter popup.
8. A chat box where people chat live on the website.
9. Scrap additional data from IMDB or TMDB.
10. Ability to use the single database on 2 or 3 different domains.
11. Fully functional review system linked to the movie or tv show.
Will discuss other features on chat before awarding the project.
