Loughborough long distance ride-sharing

This project is based on the idea of long distance ride-sharing online platform (website). The purpose of this website is to serve the local passengers and drivers for long distance trip from Loughborough to other cities in the England or back to Loughborough from other cities. This website is based on the business module of C2C which can be divided into two main categories Driver and Passenger. On this website, both passengers and drivers can post information of their needs. The Driver category is to serve car-owners who want to earn profit by taking passengers and the Passenger category is to serve people who want to have the car service for trip. Driver Category: This part aims to serve car-owners who need to go to other cities and want to earn profit by providing free seats to passengers who have the same destination, then the driver can post the trip information in order to look for potential passenger. The posted information should provides clear and detailed messages of the car, driver and trip destination. When the related information has posted, all of visitors can browse and search on the website and finally find a suitable car for their trip. Passenger Category: This part aims to serve the people who have the need for trip without suitable vehicle and time. For example, there is no express train from Loughborough to London Heathrow Airport, and in this situation, people can apply ride-sharing from a car-owner on the website who has the same destination. On the other hand, passengers can post information of their needs in order to search a suitable driver for their trip. Please be aware of that this website is focusing on the long distance trip that differs from Uber or ADT (Loughborough local company), and this website can provide different kinds of services, such as door-to-door service and airport lines.
