I have been working with unity and i can help you up with 2d or 3d graphic contents you need. i would suggest you to use 3d graphics for animated objects cause they will be easy for you to animate or modify in future however you can use toon shader (comes for free as unity essentials) to keep the 2D feel within your 3D graphics. regards, Vicky
