logo for research group

We are looking for a new logo for the Bergen Decision Lab (BDL). The BDL is a group of researcher at a Norwegian university interested in studying decision making in particular and cognition in general. Our logo should represent these two research topics. To be able to decide we need two suggestions (Sample1 and Sample2): Sample1: this logo should be loosely based on a decision tree (see examples for different decision trees here: [login to view URL] or even more here: [login to view URL];ndsp=20&svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&start=40&sa=N) and contain the groups name (Bergen Decision Lab, with the first letters BDL emphasized either in color, size or font). The logo should follow the universities color schema which you can find here: [login to view URL] – colors are described on page 12. Sample2: would emphasize the cognitive part of our work and include two or three schematic heads (I attach some suggestions – just to get the idea across) and the name of the group. The logo should follow the universities color schema which I attach (see above). We are open to getting a third sample which combines the two above!
