For the website we recommend the following:
A new website that uses a professional feature rich design, images and logo consistent to the brand, with extensive search fields including breadcrumbs, categories and sub and sub sub categories, search by part ID or keyword and grouping by price.
New website to be created as a WordPress theme with the following features and benefits;
A static header so that when the site is scrolled the contact number and all to action always shows
Navigation similar to the competition, examples given are [login to view URL] and [login to view URL]
Professional and colourful site and design, but not radically different and modern. Client hates all these new site designs with big photos and just a few words, wants it to be more for the trade, information all there not having to search for it and getting only some information.
VAT reporting, including a search facility that looks-up VAT numbers to verify them, and calculates the VAT to charge/not charge based on VAT credentials entered The current site uses a very custom coded version of CRELoaded and is, we feel beyond economic repair.
Search engine friendly for competitive but localized keywords, such as:
Lotus parts, UK Lotus components, UK Lotus part manufacturers, replacement Lotus parts.
Keyword research to find the best keywords related to these phrases to target.
Website to use a child theme so updates to the theme and WordPress do not cause issues.
Pages to be easy to add/edit/remove

Website to be easily managed including adding new products/pages/galleries/videos using wordpress.
Site to be mobile friendly responsive design.
Allow online ordering for members only
Include members details migrated from the old website
This is to be a stand-alone website, no offline database to sync with.
Expect this project to take a long time, 3-4 months because of clients reactions to give feedback may be slow, and getting all the data and product images may take some time.
Set up of website and email hosting on your domain name so can be accessed to send and receive emails by smart mobile, webmail and computers.
Using plugins to prevent spam, create and manage galleries, password protected area and allow pages to be shared on social media.
Creation of new site on password protected development URL so you can review progress at all times, before site goes live.
To complete this job, the freelancer will be provided with the following:
1) FTP Access to the temporary URL and the live URL
2) Current site CRELOADed access.
3) ExtendCP Access
4) Access to me via Freelancer, Skype and Email. I will be the project manager and will route all emails from the client to help you get feedback, etc.
Payment in 3 milestones payable at:
1) design agreed
2) Design and content integrated
3) Site set live at the URL for all to see, made public.
Website design to facilitate site growth, with room for further navigation links and buttons to grow the site.
Please include a timeline to complete in your bid.
Full support for HTML, email account and web page / site issues relating to work carried out, including support on an hourly rate basis for upgrades & changes (website management).
