She was not drunk. The ceiling was indeed closing in, the floor remained still. The belts hanging on the wall hooks dropped one by one. She looked over her bed to see a black, white and green snakes crawling away. They looked terrified as they slid out of the room. the ceiling was about a metre away and before we instincts could ask her to run, the hard concrete wall was right at her nose. Sleep clouds me so much that I don’t comprehend it. I have no clue what’s going on until the chain around my neck goes taut. It pulls tight, cutting off my breath and making each one I manage a struggle. Something I can’t see is trying to strangle me! I grab at my necklace, there’s no hands to scratch at it's just the little chain cutting into my skin. I manage a few struggled breaths until my left shoulder is pressed back into the mattress. The muscles spasmed and my vision starts to blur. There wasn’t anything I could do. I jerked forward and a gasp tore through me. The spasming in my shoulder stopped and the only thing holding
