Background: I am looking to scrape website data from two supermarket websites in Australia. (Woolworths and Coles). The only products that I am after are the products that are on sale. The expected output will be a macro embedded or excel spreadsheet that can be used on a weekly basis to scrape data. Data I am after (but not limited to): - Product Name - Brand Name (if applicable) - Sale Price - Single buy v multi buy (i.e. if the product is only on sale when you purchase 2 or more products. e.g. 2 for $5) - Discount and/or Original Price - Sale price measure (i.e. $/gram , $/unit etc) - Product Code/ID (or SKU) - URL Output: I am after the above information fields placed into a excel for each sales product that would be triggered by an excel macro. The usage is to run this on a weekly basis to extract new specials. Hi, I read the project description and what are you looking for is doable but not with Excel's macro. I have done many similar projects collecting product information of various online stores which you can check them on my profile and if you were interested I can send you sample excel files. For this purpose you need a standalone data scraper which can handle high volume of webpages. Please note that if you want to run this data scraper with your computer there are some complication because you have to rotate IPs and have a high speed internet connection. Seeing you want to run this data scraper weekly, you basically two options: A. You run the data scraper by yourself or B. Let me run the data scraper and send you the result Excel file weekly. If you want to go with option A, then make sure you have high speed internet or else the process may take a day or two to complete. Also it is possible that your IP gets banned so you need IP proxy services which adds to cost. Here is total estimated budget for each option: A. $200 for each website. I will make a data scraper for you which after you run it, it will collect products and save them into an Excel file. You have to take care of IP proxy and internet connection.
