Excel VBA macro for comparing worksheets row by row

1 Develop an Excel macro in this Excel workbook that compares the values between Sheet1 and Sheet2 2 Compare just the first column in Sheet1 to the first column in Sheet2 3 Create a new worksheet named Compare Result that shows the result of the comparison 4 If the Compare Result worksheet already exists then delete and create a new worksheet named Compare Result 5 The Compare Result worksheet will be a merge of Sheet1 and Sheet2, inserting rows that exist in one sheet but not in the other. 6 You have to assume that there may be gaps and missing rows in either Sheet1 or Sheet2 7 You can assume that the rows Sheet1 and Sheet2 will be sorted in ascending order by value 8 In Compare Result list the Row number from each sheet to indicate where the row value comes from 9 If the values are equal they should be shown on the same row in the Compare Result worksheet 10 If the values are not equal you should insert a new row in the Compare Result sheet using the color coding to indicate an unequal comparison. 11 You may need to read-ahead to get the Compare Result back in sync after an unequal comparison 12 You can assume the row limit in either sheet is < 10,000 rows 13 The result should look something like the example given in the Compare Result sheet 14 VBA code must be well documented with comments and be self-contained; it cannot branch out or call any proprietary subroutines or any code not included in the delivered Excel XLSM. 15 Freelancer Employer reserves the right to use, modify or enhance the VBA macro code in any manner. 16 The Freelance Developer who developes this Excel VBA macro relinquishes all rights to the legal ownership or reuse of the VBA macro code.
