Hi there, Electronics Engineer here. Just to give you a heads up: Once a PCB file is translated to Gerber, all the components information are lost (rotation, pins, references, etc). There is nothing in a Gerber file that identifies a specific component position. Companies usually uses a built in function of their EDAs to generate the Pick & Place file, which is usually under Reports section of the tool (Orcad, Proteus, etc). In short, unless someone can severely reverse engineer a Gerber file what you are trying to accomplish is not possible. Best regards.
