Excel - Employee Schefule and Holiday Sheet

I work for a company that employs machinery operators. I need an excel file that contains the following... A sheet with all employee details including which of the 6 machine types they can use ( this could be one or many) ie... Name phone excavator dozer truck J blogs 12345 yes yes no I then need a spreadsheet with all the employees holidays on a daily basis for the whole year. This is the complex bit... I then need a schedule sheet with days of the year across the top and list of machines down the side by type ie... Day 1 2 3 4 5 Excavator 1 Excavator 2 Bulldozer Truck1 Truck2 Truck3 Truck4 I need conditional formatting in the cells on this schedule table to show a drop-down list of operators in each cell which can operate that machine and are not on holiday on that day so in effect the cell list is being created from the holiday sheet and the staff details sheet. This is quite complex and I'm not sure if it can be done in the conditional formatting alone.
