My education consists of a Bachelor in English with a specialty in Communications. I have spent two years living in the UK and one year in the USA as a teenager, and young adult. Due to the fact that these experiences have given me a great stability and knowledge about the English language as well as very good oral and written skills, my personal experience of living abroad has given me a broader understanding of the different cultures which is a good quality to have in any job.
Within my degree there is also a year of communications, where I have encountered everything from different processes of communications to digital distribution which also can be useful as platform of knowledge in this job.
I consider my written and oral skills in English close to fluent. I also have some basic skills in German and Spanish as I studied these Languages in High School. My previous job was as a Technical writer where my Focus was translation, proof- reading, and other tasks regarding documentation. I currently work as a teacher in English and Norwegian part-time at the School of refugees in my town.
I am 32 years old, 3 children and married. When I’m not busy with everyday tasks, I work as a volunteer in our local church where I am a Sunday school teacher. I also participate and in other volunteer work such as arranging charity concerts. I am not afraid of stepping up and I absolutely love taking initiative. My passion is language and writing. I see it as a piece of art put together. I
