Structured web research about gigwork platforms in New York and Massachusetts

For a research project about digital platforms in North America I need detailed information about working conditions, usage rules and local (state) regulation of five gigwork platforms in New York (New York City Metropolitan Area) and Massachusetts (Boston Metropolitan Area).
