Design, build, test current-pulsing electronic circuit

I need a compact electronic circuit (probably using IGBTs and a capacitor) that can deliver a damped pulse of 400 amps from an 800-volt power supply in less than 5 microseconds into an inductive load (damped LRC circuit). I need to be able to deliver pulses in both directions. The switches should be triggerable with TTL pulses, with low jitter. If you are in the Washington DC area or can travel here, that would be a plus. I have attached a potential configuration.
