We need to troubleshoot a problem with a 93C66B microchip. We need to change static info on the chip, but when we rewrite it, or write it new, it will not appear on the device. The device works, but the info does not present itself as it's supposed to. No errors come up, the required info does not display. eg: Original date: 11/01/19 -> Changed to 11/18/19 - The only change is the date, no other code changes were made - Original date will show up, new date will not - Possibly a chksum error?

You need to put new data at the same memory address than previous data. Dont leave the designation of memory segment to the compiler.
