Modbus sniffer

Your models link is using serial or TCP communication link? If TCP you could use Wireshark tools as well. If serial link you should set the port to use virtual serial port method for splitting the port for sniffer purpose and the apps it's self as the serial can't be shared by software method. Wireshark has the serial monitoring function, but I recommend to use Winhex Dump tools.

Can you please tell me exactly what type of modbus devices you have. If it is a PLC you may do little programming.
