I have FULL CONFIDENCE of lending you a hand in reporting the "stuck" messages within Outlook's main folder and Archive folder. QUESTIONS 1) Are you using Outlook in an Exchange Server environment? Or is the email account configured using IMAP instead of POP3? I am asking this question because to find out "stuck" messages, I would need to "mark" the emails. In case of Exchange Server mode and IMAP, it is possible that an email message may not yet have been fully downloaded, which makes it difficult to "mark" the email message. 2) In case you have multiple email accounts configured within Outlook, there may be more that one "stores" present in Outlook profile. However, there can only be 1 default "store" that will contain Inbox, Calendar, etc. folders and it is this Inbox folder that you are calling as "main". Right? 3) Writing this code in PowerShell or .NET is fine but do note that in order to send email programmatically, the Windows machine must have up-to-date Antivirus software installed. Otherwise, Outlook Object Guard prevents PowerShell script or .NET exe to automatically send emails. By the way, this problem is not there if you use Outlook VBA. Are you open to using Outlook VBA?
