We have developed a .Net Web Service running on IIS. It is a virtual 2016 Server. We can run a Get or a Post from Postman and it produces a result. But if we send a OPTIONS command then it fails and understand it is something to do with CORS. The error received mentions a failure in Pre-flight request and error 405. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 405 (Method Not Allowed) [login to view URL] Access to XMLHttpRequest at xxxx from origin 'null' has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: It does not have HTTP ok status. We require someone to fix the issue so that we can send a command from an external site.
