I have a project that reads PNG Sprite files for ASCII character sets. I need a Delphi or Lazarus developer to help me make a DESKTOP editor for it
User selects from a list provided by the web server - the list will be sequencial number of the existing FONT file.
0 equates to doing a GET [login to view URL] (please look at this file, it is an existing font file).
That file is 8px wide by 8px tell, per character. So to load "A" (ASCII 65), you copy top left (8*(65-1)) width 8px, height 8px.
I would like your app to load said file(s) and display each character similar to Window's Character Map. If the user double clicks "A" for example, you load the above scenario - render it much larger. Use a 1 pixel clSilver border around each zoomed pixel - to make it obvious to the user each box represents 'a pixel'. This only needs to support Black or White, for each PIXEL/BOX.
Just needs to be cross-platform (thus Lazarus), and able to load from the web URL, and save to disk any modifications. (forgot the save to disk part).
If the person is weak with HTTP GET, I can whip that out in 10 min for them.
* I would prefer this to be build in Lazarus, as I run Mac not Windows.
