Using C ++, the Qt library, and Qt Creator, create a program that will allow you to perform time-consuming background calculations. The application must allow pause or complete cancellation of the performed calculation (the following calculation must not restrict the application). Both calculations can run at the same time! The progress of the calculation will be indicated with progress bar. Implemented algorithms: - recursive / iterative calculation of factorial from (any large) integer - sequential algorithm of the Sieve of Eratosthenes to search for prime numbers on a specified range of integers.

I can implement this task using Qt child/worker threads and use signal-slots for updating progress bar in parent gui thread. You will be able to pause/cancel the worker thread. Looking forward to working with you.

Dear sir, I recently make a qt qml application for a local client, that takes live fingerprint scan from the fingerprint scanner and display image on the screen. it takes 10 images/second from device and display on screen. when i making application, i see that its blocking gui, so i move it to seperate thread and now gui is not blocking, i can also show you the app. This is my first project on freelancer, but i promise you if you award me the project, I will work hard and my all dedication to you.
