Introducing AstroZoa: Sustainability Research Through Gaming.
Scientific research used to look like this: Individual people were brought to a laboratory and asked to perform a series of tasks. It was a slow process and pools were small.
Now, with fun, challenging games like AstroZoa, we can expand our scientific laboratory to the whole world and "Game for Good"!
This is 21st Century research: mass participation, big data and open-innovation problem solving.
Players get a great game and the opportunity to contribute to an area of research they care about;
Scientists get more valuable data they could ever have dreamed of in a fraction of the time;
Funding partners get the credit for making it all happen;
And together, we all help to figure out the best ways to cooperate for a sustainable future"
