We require a post processor to work with Fusion 360 and our Anderson Selexx 3719 2008 CNC machine with Fanuc controller. There may need to be an add-on for Fusion 360 to make use of the 16 bit drill block that the Andi Selexx CNC has. The drill block is L shape configuration and has 10 drills in the X axis, 6 drills in the Y axis. The drill block uses M88 and M89 commands to control the ten X axis and six Y axis drills. Combinations of B1, up to B1023 numbers, control which and how many drills are used. M88 B1 activates drill 1, M88 B2 activates drill 2, M88 B3 activates drills 1 & 2, M88 B1023 activates all 10 drills in the X direction. We want to be able to create a drilling toolpath utilising combinations of drills to efficiently produce a product while minimising machine movement. The person designing the product in Fusion 360 needs to be able to output Gcode for the machine without any special skills (other than Fusion 360 knowledge).

Hi there. I dont know if you have heard about creo or not. In creo we have several post processors and after modelling the product you can generate tool paths for any system including the fanuc system. We have to see if it contains the post processor for Selexx. Another option that we have is MasterCAM that helps with CAD and CAM. I am a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in CAD/CAM in a manufacturing industry. We also use Creo to machine products on CNC Machines. I would like to know the detail of the drilling commands of the product that you are machining. Looking forward.
