To develop the C#, Blazor code needed to populate 33 tables with data (some are simple lookup tables) from 20 Pages (Mockup designed and provided) using Visual Studio, Syncfusion and Blazor on a SQL Server Database (designed, deployed and provided).
Responsive Design: The pages are expected to be responsive but only optimised for 1080p desktop at this stage.
CSS: Default SyncFusion Fluent theme is fine but a new follow-on project will include styling the site to meet a primary parent WordPress site look and feel later.
Login: The VS Solution has the default “Individual Credentials” classes which will be fine for this project. A new follow-on project later will look at SSO by passing the WordPress user credentials over to this site (sub-domain site).
Reports: The 20 pages with their data must be exported as a PDF when done matching page for page with master-child grids expanded where necessary.
Provided for you
Visual Studio Solution ready to use with SyncFusion components and all data classes (unproven) for the 33 tables. No pages or logic code.
GitHub Repo setup and ready to use.
Test SQL Server Database setup and ready to use.
Mockup of the pages to show fields, buttons, etc needed. Being a “mockup” there will be discussion about exact layouts, implementation to come but you are expected to use common sense and best UI practice to convert mockup to page UI. Guidance will be given.
Database design is complete and deployed.
Key Processes
Besides capturing simple data, there is one key process you will need consider and that is “Closing/Sealing a version”. A user begins capturing data against version 1 but at any point can declare a new version. At that point, all data is copied from version 1 to version 2 by inserting a copy of the version 1 row for all versioned tables (about 12). This allows the user to edit version 2 with all existing data pre-populated.
While Blazor uses EF, you are free to use SQL Server Views, Stored Procedures and functions if they are better suited to the task.
