I need a piece of code which will be able to write 4 bytes to a specific memory address in a process. The challenge being that the memory address has Memory protection flag PAGE_EXECUTE_READ 0x20 set. Overriding the Protection with VirtualProtectEx or ZwProtectVirtualMemory etc. to attempt making it: PAGE_EXECUTE_READWRITE 0x40 - does not seem to work. If the delivered code is standalone or based on one of the available frameworks for it (there is a few open source drivers available for this purpose, which may be used if desired). Ill be using this code from either a C++ or possibly a C# project.
