About the Proposal : I am seeing from the problem statement that this project has about 35 screens. I assume the bid is for all 35 screens. The sample screen shared is also having good number of data fields . So the amount of validation for each screen is also expected to be high. Proposal 1 : Only User Interface Per Screen : 1000 INR Total 35 Screens : 35 * 1000 = 35000 INR Total Time Frame = 3 Weeks Proposal 2 : User Interface + Business Logic Per Screen : 5000 INR Total 35 Screens : 35 * 4000 = 1,75,000 INR Total Timeframe = 2 Months Advice : As a general development paradigm , it is advised to reduce the number of screens by reusing the existing screens. More number of screens will make the maintenance of the application harder. Development Approach in WPF The WPF Screens shall be developed using the MVVM pattern. This pattern helps to keep the business logic and screen code as separate entity. I have built many WPF applications over the years as a software engineer. I see the task taking 1 day, but I am extending it to 3 days so there is enough time for you to do a review of the interface. For this project: - The UI will be built as a user control. (unless requested otherwise) - The control will be dynamically sizable - The control will include value checking. (Example being that the email field checks for a valid email address) - When the 'Save" button is clicked, a 'Customer" object will be created that contains all the information needed for the customer. This is where your backed engineers can grab the data and update a DB. - When the 'Save' button is clicked, a method will be called to verify the customer is valid. This can be used to notify the operator whether the customer already exists or not. (If there are any other requests/features, please let me know up front.) Milestones: 1) Interface Draft: This will include a built UI. I will send a picture of the UI as it is. This is the time to comment on the look of the control. 2) Interface Final: This will include any updates to the UI as well as some polishing. This phase will include value checking. 3) Cleanup: This will include code cleanup and commenting so your backed engineers can use/modify as needed.
