Authentication with roles in razor pages

I want to use [Authorize(Roles="xx"] and [login to view URL] but not working unless I use claims with cookies and signinasync. If I use PasswordSigninAsync I cannot use Authorize with roles.
[Authorize] without parameters is working. How can I achieve this with Psswordsinginasync
