ShuttlePro Helper

Contour Design's Shuttle Pro does not have a graphical Pop up overlay that you can use to use to figure out what you are doing. There are 57 possible programmable key combinations that can be programmed into the device. What I want is a method to program a key that will PopUp an overlay that displays what I have programmed into the ShuttlePro. Simply the ShuttlePro Helper. As the Shuttlepro user goes from one program to the next or another menu in the program they are working with they are presented with a new set of 57 possible programmable keys that they have to recall from memory. We have to do that or go through the highly inefficient process of stopping what they are doing, clicking the control panel scrolling down to the settings that they have programmed and finding out what the button does. They have to repeat this process whenever they forget a button, I wish to solve this problem. Deliverables: A GUI that reads the .pref file that the user is actively using. Displays that configuration over the top of a map of the keys in an efficient manner. Does not take focus away from the program being worked in. Can be called (visable) and hid from a single shuttlepro programmable button. Needs to have the option of being always on top and resizable. When a user moves to a different application or configuration within an application the GUI updates to current setting. Since I'm complaining there is another functionality that the program needs. It needs to be able to program combination keys (2 or more keys to perform a function or a set of actions) and button and jog wheel combos which would make things so much easier. So the functionality is press does one thing and press and hold has the ability to do something else. That however would expand it's use beyond 57 possible programmable combinations to something impossible to wield without a ShuttlePro Helper. The Lightroom plugin gives an excellent example of combination buttons. In the video included you will see what I mean. I use several maps in one program when I work with this tool. In Capture One for example I have a map for Culling, Editing, Layers and HDR adjustments. All with assigned buttons. When you open the Control Panel it basically does what I want however You cannot continue to work in your program because it works with the application in focus. I have posted multiple complaints to the company that seems to have limited vision of what the device can do. It is beyond their time. This is game changing.. There are literally millions of people waiting to thank you. Combination keys would eliminate the need to buy additional resources like Loupedecks or Palette Gear systems.
