OE Hello , I can do that project because already have all electronics parts with exception of Vending Machine including payment device Maybe for Payment can use QR codes as cards and in this case instead of esp32 can use/change into esp32-cam...depend of your app-requirement agree this kind of payment! Remark: Don't be misunderstood... OE I've worked with ESP32 and several Quectel modems like EC25, EG25, EC20, BG96, etc. I also worked to develop MDB protocol on ESP32 (using parity bit), AVR (bit-baning), and iMX (hardware 9-bit). OE Hope you doing well, I had done simmiler project that you mentioned in your projet description. I used GSM7672s 4G module to send sensor data from esp32 to server. Esp32 used modbus protocol to get data from those analog devices and sensors and than send data to server using SIM module. you mentioned that you need to communicate using quectel module, I also developed applications using Quctel EC25 module. let me know if you need any help TIA Reagads Haresh

I have heard mdb protocol that it is a protocol used in vending machines but I've never worked with this protocol before.
