Saw a really clean style of error checking but trying to get the syntax straight and made it kind of self documenting? (something like this - just two lines he did it and looked very organized"
# below is the statement and checked
somelinuxcommand $$ x=$?
if x!=0 echo "error with somelinuxcommand$x" fi
anotherlinuxcommand $$ x=$?
if x!=0 echo "error with anotherlinuxcommand $x" fi
somebluecommand $$ x=$?
if x!=0 echo "error with somebluecommand $x" fi
redredredred $$ x=$?
if x!=0 echo "error with redredredred $x" fi
SINCERELY WOULD BE NICE TO MEET YOU PLEASE

There is hope you can give your “best” price; unemployed, and have cancer with bills backing up. $12 ok?
My funds are low but will pay quick and leave 5 stars. Please give your best possible for your bid ? (something reasonable?) Please note there is hope we can mutually complete this task; we can leave each other nice comments and 5 stars for each? Look at feedback on my profile, feedback I left for many others. Here is the project:
ANY THOUGHTS ? Please note project is due in two hours as this projects deadline, as this is needed if we can get some done - then we can talk about next steps and 5 stars and another job also. If this is a good one and we are "successful"; would need a couple others setup, but will handle one at a time? Can you do this for something reasonable in a couple hours? thoughts ?
Hello,
I'm Hoang, a System Admin.
I have 5-years of experience working with Linux server.
I used to work with you at the previous bash script project.
Please consider and contact me, we will discuss all the requirements needed to complete it.
Thank you.
Low fee High results. You can contact me for any bash scripting work. I have many of the jobs early happening manually in linux. So you can trust me for this.
I will do this project. It is an opportunity for me to both learn and earn in the process. I may not have heard of this, but I debug a lot of my shell scripts, so I will pick it up very quickly.
Hi, I am Leo. I am a seasoned sysadmin with years of experience with linux distros.
I would say you got it a bit wrong, wherever you saw it you are missing something and TBH that would not be the best way of checking for failed command execution. The addition of the "if/else" clause would add a minor waste of resources from your desktop/server if this is used in large scale.
