Assistance to design my humble lawn.

Have small house on 1 acre. Would like assistance in designing low cost , low maintenance outside front and back. plan to do work myself or contract out portions.. Simple 100'x 100' flat level ground with just few trees on one side of house front. Approximately 300'x 100' rear yard, mostly flat and open with only few trees and bushes on perimeter. Back yard has open stamped concrete deck running the lenght of house. 2 steps from deck to ground. would like to put some inexpensive hard ground cover around bottom of step, which would allow grill and seating, possibly going length of deck. I want to incorporate afew things into the backyard design; lawn game play area, horsehshoe pit, a garden with seating area and open space.
