Social Photo Competitions

Project Description Background: _ A start up company has developed a promotional event tool in the form of Photo Competition. The aim is to offer it to major Brands as a marketing tools to promote and collect info from the participants. A website has already been developed and the requirement is to review the original design and extend the its integration with other social network sites and alike Platform. (Facebook/Flickr/Online Gallery/Mailchimp etc) As the website is already developed conceptualisation and site design activities are not required. Here is a brief list of the skills and functionalities identified so far for this project: Design and Code: _ • AJAX/XHTML: No FLash • ASP.Net • MySQL and/or SQL Server • Knowledge in PHP a plus • API Development (//Major photo vendor) • Experience in mobile apps development Functionalities: _ • Skinning • Video Upload Support • Individual Photo URL • Rating System (To rate/comment on Photo / Video) • Voting Entry Fraud Protection (// Cookie-IP) • ability to retrieve EXIF info from uploaded photo (Reporting and on the site) • Facebook and Online Network Sharing • Enhancements to existing CMS • Search • Allow add. customisation from the client/user end (to a degree) (custom landing page, entry form, date limit, participant Number limit...) • Blog Module • Optional Payment Module (To enter competition) • Allow for Opt.
