Responsibilities
We’re looking for an exceptional marcom writer who has experience with B2B and B2C manufacturers and can semi-independently manage and create two of our manufacturer clients’ content, newsletter and social media content.
Client 1: Signage Industry:
Our client is a leading designer, fabricator, installer and servicer of commercial signs and awnings in New England. Your monthly responsibilities & deliverables will include:
1. Content Creation & Production (with client input)
a. Original blog posts per month: 2
b. Curated blog posts per month: 4
2. Monthly newsletter content and production
a. Create short, original content (news, announcements, etc.) for the newsletter and select the best original and curated content that was previously created for inclusion
b. Production: Use Mailchimp or EMMA to produce and send out the newsletter
i. Update the client’s mailing lists as needed
3. Website updating
a. Hours per month: 0.5
4. General Editorial service
a. Hours per month: 0
5. Social Media marketing
a. Ongoing, republishing of original & curated content on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Slow, organic approach to growing networks by monitoring, interacting, following groups, etc.
b. Hours per month: 3
6. Content Management
a. Monthly Marketing Meeting with client
i. Work with Sales Renewal to define the Monthly Marketing agenda
ii. Attend the Content Marketing portion of the Monthly Marketing meeting.
b. Communication and management with Sr Marketing Manager, client and other necessary parties as needed during the business workday (via email) to maintain a smoothly functioning Content Marketing program
7. Other services as mutually determined and agreed to by each party
Client 2: Trade Show & Pop-Up Retail Industry:
Our client is a marketing agency specializing in experiential design and 3-D marketing. They design, fabricate and install interior spaces that embody their clients’ brand and marketing goals, in four distinct verticals: trade show and exhibit design, specialty retail, banking, and corporate and institutional. Your monthly responsibilities & deliverables will include:
1. Content Creation & Production (with client input)
a. Original blog posts per month: 1
b. Curated blog posts per month: 4-8
2. Monthly newsletter creation and production
a. Content: Create short, original content (news, announcements, etc.) and select the best original and curated content from the month, such that there’s at least 1 article for each of the client’s four verticals
b. Production: Use Mailchimp or EMMA to produce and send out the newsletter
i. Update any needed mailing list changes as necessary
3. Website updating
a. Hours per month: 1
4. General Editorial service
a. Hours per month: 4
5. Social Media marketing
