Hello, I understand your project needs and i am sure that can make it.I have experience in drawing animation with tablet in Flash and the other Adobe products. My plan to complete this project: First i will draw raw sketch animation in Flash,to see the movement,next i will stroke and fill the keys in Illustrator(like your characters,i tasted it)and then will import back in Flash in timeline to compose and voila.
