I have already done scenario #1 and Scenario #2 for another company. So I have to implement only the #3 scenario. I write Lambda functions in Python, Boto3 library for AWS. I'm not familiar with writing Lambda functions in Node.js. How are you planning to run the terraform code ? from local desktop / laptop or Jenkins ? Also note that when we launch Lambda within a VPC, Lamba needs to have access to internet to call AWS APIs. So you need to have a NAT gateway or Internet gateway or a proxy which is peered via another VPC. I am a AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator certified in new Syllabus. I have 1 and 1/2 years of terraform experience and 4 years of AWS experience in large scale financial companies.
