It shall be a non profit organization involving an online suicide prevention forum where depressed people can make phone calls to us and we shall then diagnose their mental health concerns through our expert counselors available 24*7 and then transfer the patient's call to the concerned department in accordance with the diagnosis. Then, the expert counselors of the concerned department shall deal with the patient and provide appropriate counseling. Thereafter, the counselor will ask the patient about his or her convenient place to meet the psychiatrist( or any other suitable medical practitioner in accordance with the diagnosis) and then provide the patient with an appointment.
The same process will be followed in case of chat sessions, where the whole process will be carried out through chats instead of phone calls as in the previous case.
We intend to provide both phone calls and chat sessions in two languages that is, English and Hindi.
In case of immediate crisis situations, we shall call 102(ambulance) and that will take the patient from his place to the nearest government mental hospital( or any other govt. recognized mental hospital) and provide the patient with immediate medical care.
We also intend to utilize the Data Science Techniques, Artificial Intelligence and Social Media to micro target people who keep on struggling with some kind of mental health concerns without even being aware of it, of which, depression is a very common mental state that often goes unrecognized or undiagnosed.
The phone calls are going to be charged at normal phone call rates and chat sessions will involve normal data charges. We will not ask for any extra charges.
