The project is to develop a small news web site using Django CMS. A ready HTML template purchased from Envato will be provided with several page templates in it. The site will have several news posts and articles. All of them will follow one of 4 page templates. There will be two admin user groups: authors and reviewers. The front page will display teasers from existing posts. A reviewer will be able to select which posts shows at which part of the front page. The authors will only be able to submit draft posts. In the main menu, there will be several categories, which obviously will be dynamic too. There will also be a category index page, following a specific page template from the provided envato files. Additionally, there will be an authors index, with a page for each author. Also, every post will display the relevant author. There will also be specific regions in every page, that are already provided by the template, that will display ad banners. Also, there will also be the possibility to dynamically specify a skin for the surrounding site region. There will be a contact us page and search functionality. Last, there will be facebook like and facebook comment plugins for every post. To sum up, content types: - Posts - Authors - Ad banners - Category pages
