Hello, I need to consult with someone who knows PostgreSQL and Ruby. We are being told from AWS that our database will automatically update from version 10.21 to version 14. I would like to know if there are any issues that may arise from this. Will it break our system? We are using an older Ruby on Rails. Programming is primarily Ruby and HAML/HTML Files are on Github. Autoconfiguration is done on Jenkins and Terraform. Thank you, Jeb -
I would like a clean installation through the release files. I've considered some of the installer packages but would like a clean installation. The installer packages use mySQL as a back-end which I don't want. I've attempted the install and ran into incompatibility issues with certain gems through Ruby on Rails. I would ideally like a walkthrough on it. Where i can replicate the steps. Instructions here but I think I'm using the latest gems, ruby and ruby on rails:
I need someone with knowledge of Ruby on Rails who can teach me the framework and help me migrate from Pusher to ActionCable.
I need someone to check my automation framework below and configure it correctly. If you know what to do, this should take you less than few hours to complete. Then I want you to automate 5 web pages (using page-object) library. This whole project should take a day or two. I will provide you with all the webpage element handles and ID's, so writing the tests should be straight forward. My setup is as follows: - using Ruby as a base language - Using Watir library to drive the webpages - using Rspec to assert elements in the page - using Allure-rsepc to show the resports - using page-object library to create the pages
