I would like a clean installation through the release files. I've considered some of the installer packages but would like a clean installation. The installer packages use mySQL as a back-end which I don't want. I've attempted the install and ran into incompatibility issues with certain gems through Ruby on Rails. I would ideally like a walkthrough on it. Where i can replicate the steps. Instructions here but I think I'm using the latest gems, ruby and ruby on rails:
