i am trying to create a mac application that can print in the dock menu. to do so I need to drop a file, get its path and execute the "lp" command i can get the script to echo the correct terminal command, but i can't figure out how to get the script to execute the terminal command. i have attached where i am up to, to date.

As part of that, I need to combine my task description, total the amount of time and then quantify to the nearest tenth of an hour. I have a large calender file in a system called NowUptodate for Mac This program is now defunct. I need to convert this into ICS files or iCal so I can import it into my new calender system. NowUptodate only works on older mac OS so you will need to run an older version on a virtual machine or a an old system. I have a basic script written in VBS that I'd like converted to AppleScript. The VBS script accesses the iTunes API and loops through the iTunes library object, filling associative arrays so that the user's listening habits can be tallied. It then writes them to a file.
