"Solalai" was brought to life by a belief that nature and the world around us has a unique ability to show us how to get the most out of life. Our surroundings shape us and set us free, leading to the starting point for a unique range of convertible contemporary pieces.

Solalai offers a harmonious and heartfelt collection of pieces that speak to who you really are. Our name comes from the indigenous word for squirrel and captures our passion for exploring the world, while working harmoniously together.

The scene and sights of the Cascade Mountains in Canada left us speechless. Their beautiful, serene quality set us at ease and gave us the spark of inspiration needed to create something truly special.

We embrace ethical practices which reconnect you with the natural world. Solalai cares about striking a harmonious balance that can touch people from all walks of life in truly diverse ways. We use all kinds of eco-friendly fabrics and mainly Hemp blend fabrics which grows fast in any kind of climate. It does not exhaust the soil, uses little water, and requires no pesticides. Hemp is considered the most versatile and sustainable plant on earth. With high moisture absorbency, high heat conductivity, and excellent abrasion resistance, they can be made into beautiful, comfortable and long lasting clothes. The more you wash them, the softer they get. They age gracefully. Blended with other natural fibers, their applications become almost endless.

Natural inspirations are at the core of who we are. We are Solalai and we wouldn’t have it any other way…

attached is the sign of hope in indigenous culture This symbol of an eight pointed star represents the four cardinal points of north, south, east and west and their connection to the outermost points on the horizon where the sun passes through the year. It represents wishing and hoping. it could be implemented in the design but it is NOT a requirement.

Squirrel’s Gifts Include ability to solve puzzles, resourcefulness, quick change of direction, storing for the future/planning ahead, balance in giving and receiving, power of rest during times of non-movement, warning, discovery, change avoiding danger by climbing to a higher place, action. As busy as these animals are, they always have time to play

The design should be minimalist, modern, feminine
